onCENTER LVL is available in a broad range of grades and sizes to meet the varying demands of today’s designers, builders, and homeowners. It’s a natural choice if you need stable dimensions, consistent performance, and superior strength. With design properties far surpassing those of ordinary dimension lumber shallower depths, longer clear spans, and fewer intermediate supports all feasible. Typical applications include door & window headers, floor beams, ridge beams, and hip and valley beams. Quality is monitored by the third-party inspection services of APA-EWS® and backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
Quality and value are hallmarks of onCENTER™ BLI joists. Manufactured with either LVL or high-grade lumber flanges and an enhanced OSB web, BLI joists are strong, lightweight, consistent and cost-effective. As moisture evaporates from ordinary lumber, nails can pop and squeak resulting in costly call-backs and repairs. BLI joists are manufactured with low-moisture content material ensuring floor systems that are quieter, with greater stability and long-term dependability.
onCENTER Advanced Framing Lumber (AFL) is similar to solid sawn lumber but with higher design values. It takes all of the positive attributes of wood and improves upon them. The first thing you'll notice is its wane-free appearance on all four edges and that significant defects have been removed during manufacturing. This is accomplished through a unique patented process in which dense 2×4 and 2×6 Black Spruce lumber is analyzed with both an optical scanner and optimization software to remove natural flaws. Edges are profiled with individual pieces laminated together into panels that are cut to widths ranging from 3 1/2" to 16". Finger-jointing the ends allows for long lengths up to 32'. Structural applications include wall studs, roof rafters, floor joists, and truss chord stock.
An engineered lumber product composed of stacked layers of graded dimension lumber glued together. Its superior strength and stud wall matching standard widths make it an incredibly sound structural product for a wide variety of projects. onCENTER Glulam 3000 can be used as beams and headers in both residential applications and large commercial structures where long spans are often needed. Third-party quality assurance monitoring is provided by APA-EWS® and all onCENTER Glulam 3000 is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
